City Corporation disconnects water supply in two wards for default of tax payment

Coimbatore : Acting on the orders of CCMC Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan the drinking water connection of one KJ. Edwin of Rajaveedhi of ward no 83 has been disconnected as he defaulted on the payment of water tax of Rs.16, 845 to the city Corporation. 

The corporation workers cut off the water supply to his house on the orders of the Commissioner.

In a similar action, the corporation staff has also cut off the water supply to an apartment in ward no: 25, as the owners have defaulted on paying the property tax of Rs.27, 796.

Similar action would be taken against defaulters of tax payment to the city corporation, the Commissioner warned.
