Coimbatore’s ‘No Dumping’ initiative wins Prime Minister’s award

Coimbatore : Coimbatore’s ‘No Dumping’ waste segregation model has won the Prime Minister’s award for best waste segregation model under Swachh Bharat mission. 

The team was awarded as the best initiative under Swachh Bharat Mission. 

‘No Dumping’ is social service initiative started in 2016 by Prashant, Saran Raj and Suresh Bhandari from Coimbatore, supported by the CCMC. The trio offered waste management services for several apartment complexes and residential spaces. Today, ‘No Dumping’ handles up to 5 tonnes of segregated waste per day collected from 43 residential communities, 4200 households and the Airports Authority of India.
