No political party will be able to come close to AIADMK's victory in Parliament elections: Minister Sengottaiyan

Coimbatore: Criticising TTV Dhinakaran, KA Sengottaiyan, Minister for school education said that no political party will be able to come close to ADMK in the parliament elections. 

The minister was here along with Minister for Local administration SP Velumani to take part in an award function organised by School education department at the premises of a private college here. 




Addressing the media, Minister Sengottaiyan said, ”As far as parliamentary elections are concerned, no political party will be able to come close to ADMK.” Talking about his department, Sengottaiyan said, “The department is planning to give CA coaching for 25,000 CA aspirants through 500 Chartered Accountants. It would take another four months to evaluate the results of Postgraduate teachers examinations and they would be appointed once the results are declared.” 

He added that the second phase of teacher transfer councelling will be held in another 15 days and there is no chance of appointing temporary staff on a permanent basis at present. 

Earlier, addressing at the event, Minister Sengottaiyan said, “More than Rs.27,000 crores has been allocated for school education department. About 120 District Educational Officers have been developed and all District Educational Officers will be provided with vehicles soon.” He added that PTA associations should be formed all schools to bridge the gap between parents and teachers. 

The minister also said that 1000 machines will be imported from Germany to within three months after consulting with Local administration minister and Chief Minister to meet the shortage of sanitary staff to clean toilets in schools.

When Minister SP Velumani was asked about TTV Dhinakaran’ party meeting here, he said,” Everyone knows how he managed to pull crowd for the event.” Criticising Dhinakaran’s leadership, SP Velumani said, ”TTV Dhinakaran is no great leader and what contribution has he done for the development of ADMK.” He also said that Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami solved the long pending Cauvery issue and Dhinakaran didn’t mention anything about it during the meeting.
