Reckless mock drill turns disastrous. Kovai Kalaimagal College girl dies falling from second floor

Coimbatore : In a shocking incident, a college student died after she was forced to perform a mock drill for disaster management. 

Logeswari (18) a second year BBA student of Kalaimagal Arts and Science College, Narasipuram here died in vain, after a person named Arumugam supposedly a rescue and disaster management, trainer pushed her from the second floor of the college building, to demonstrate students a mock drill on disaster management.




In the video, it is crystal clear that Logeswari shows signs of reluctance to listen to Arumugam's instructions and to jump off, while other students are prepared in the ground floor with a net to cover her up. 

While Logeswari continued to show hesistance, Arumugam pushed her off from the second floor. She stumbled from the second floor and hit on the first floor's sunshade and fell down unconscious.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Sadly, she passed away on her way. It is reported that the student suffered severe injuries around her neck area.  

It is reported that the drill was conducted to train the students to equip themselves during times of disaster. However, this act shows unprofessionalism and unpreparedness of the trainer and the college to conduct such drills.
