The Man who saved India- Sardar Patel and his Idea of India by Hindol Sengupta was launched today. The Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science and Indica Coimbatore hosted the book launch at the SNR auditorium. The book was released by the author Hindol Sengupta and the first copy was presented to the Ravi Sam, the chief guest for the event.
The author Hindol Senguptha spoke on the relevance of Patelian ideology in the present situation. He spoke about the need to remember Sardar patel and why should be honoured by every Indian. The author talked about the role played by patel to secure and protect the nation by fusing the princely states with British India to create a democratic , independent nation.
Hindol Senguptha , a former journalist and an entrepreneur has written eight books. On entrepreneurship the author said that the country's environment is very condusive for entrepreneurs. Speaking on entrepreneurship, he said," The climate in the country is apt for the entrepreneurs,Its upto the young entrepreneurs to actually do things which they have dreamt about. Biggest problem with the aspiring young entrepreneurs is that they have lot of ideas but at the same time there is plenty of mental blocks which stop them from putting their ideas to action. My advice to them is start doing things, everything will fall in place if you have the right idea".
Earlier the book release event was attended by 1000 students and faculty members of various schools and colleges in the city. Swathy Rohit, Chief Business Officer of SNR charitable trust gave the welcome address. Pramod Kumar, Coordinator , Indica Coimbatore presented the vote of Thanks.
